Before And After

coolsculpting before afterStill not sure what CoolSculpting is? Here is all the information you need to decide whether this will be the method you chose for your flanks and other problem areas. CoolSculpting, also known as fat freezing is a process where select areas of fat are removed by freezing the fat cells and killing them off.

All the areas experienced redness for a few hours, but did not experience any bruising or visible marks after the treatment. The treated areas all varied in levels of soreness. The lower inner thighs were sore for approximately 1 day, while the other three areas were sore for about 5-7 days. This soreness, however was minimal, and I was still able to work-out at the gym and go about my regular day-to-day activities.

They will then use a rod to freeze the fat from your flanks. Once the fat cells are frozen, they die. They leave the body through natural processes over the period of days to months. Most people can see results within 3-4 weeks. Again the amount of fat decides how many treatment sessions you need. The best thing about CoolSculpting is that there is little to no risks involved.

For a fraction of the cost, they may offer some at-home and custom treatments. This is not a testimonial on them, as I have not personally used them, but you can check them out, along with the reviews here right on Amazon. While CoolSculpting may provide a safe and potentially effective way of getting rid of a few inches here and there, it is not designed for everyone, and it may not be effective in all cases. Either way, you will need to focus on your diet if you are going to see long-lasting and powerful changes in the shape of your body.

How Does CoolSculpting Work? CoolSculpting essentially freezes a portion of subcutaneous fat, causing the fat cells to rupture and be removed by the lymphatic system. During a sophisticated process known as cryolipolysis, an applicator exposes stubborn bulges to precisely controlled cooling. This cooling penetrates and freezes fat cells without harming the overlying skin or tissue. Once frozen, the immune system gradually collects the frozen cells and excretes them from the body in the form of waste. This process can take several weeks, with most patients seeing results after 2 months, although individual experiences may vary.

Since the dead fat cells drain through the lymphatic system she suggested I get more massages that week and drink a detox tea. I did drink a detox tea daily but didn’t have time to work in massages. I did experience a little bit of bruising but it wasn’t bad.

I've always had nice legs, but my inner thighs bothered me. No matter how big or small I got, they were always a problem. Now I can wear shorts with confidence! Ever since she was young, Mrs. B always felt her arms were bigger and not proportionate with the rest of her body. Wearing tank tops were out of the question, yet normal long sleeve that fit were hard to find. Mrs. B spent her days in loose tops with gigantic, wide open sleeves, not something she felt particularly fashionable in.

Traditionally, subcutaneous fat (the kind CoolSculpting can freeze) has been viewed as less dangerous than visceral fat, but it seems as though medical opinions may be changing on that front. According to Dr. Susan Fried, Director of the Boston Nutrition and Obesity Research Center at Boston University, there’s “emerging evidence” that subcutaneous fat cells on the abdomen, specifically, present as much danger as visceral fat cells. While CoolSculpting can’t help you reduce your visceral fat cells, diet and exercise can.

Depending on how much fat you’re trying to get rid of, we may recommend multiple treatments, but we’ll never try to sell you on treatments you don’t need. “CoolSculpting was one of the best decisions I have made to improve the stubborn areas that diet and exercise were not helping. The saddlebags and obliques are the areas that I noticed most. I really wanted more of a curved look and CoolSculpting helped achieve that. I loved it and would definitely do it again! “I felt very comfortable and at home both with Kristen and The Spa MD. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions honestly.
